Have Art: Will Travel! (HAWT), a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation, is a collaborative arts community founded in 1972 by artist-activist Linda Stein.
A laboratory for social change, HAWT fosters acceptance of evolving expressions of gender through artistic media and dynamic intellectual exchange.
With art as a starting point, HAWT empowers people to more easily reach their personal authenticity and, beyond themselves, accept this in others.
With exhibits/lectures/performances, HAWT addresses issues of racism/sexism/ableism/homophobia as seen through the lens of bullying.
